We are a producer of cartridge filters WPZ type that are applied both in devices manufactured by UNION Sp. z o.o. and substitutively in similar installations. Cartridges made of cellulose paper have over 4,5 times bigger filtering area. Our cartridges were tested in the Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute and have been granted a Technical Approval No. 7/GP-1/98.

The filtering element in WPZ cartridges is a star-pleated cellulose paper, strengthened with polyester fiber and impregnated with phenolic resin. Cellulose paper is covered with perforated zinc coated or stainless steel (depending on gas mixture) on both sides. Cartridges bottoms are sealed with felt rings, preventing contaminated gas from mixing with purified medium.

Filtration efficiency is at least 99,5% for contaminants sized “d” ≥ 2 µm.

Cartridge filters capacity:

1. non-destructive pressure change:

   • WPZ type – less than 1,0 bar,

2. pressure drop (at new cartridge and nominal flow):

   • WPZ type – 8 ÷ 12 mbar,

3. maximum pressure drop:

   • WPZ type – to 1000 mbar.
